Abstrakty

W biznesie XXI w. wzrasta rola technologii w budowaniu przewagi konkurencyjnej przedsiębiorstw i łańcuchów dostaw. W zarządzaniu łańcuchem dostaw istotne znaczenie zyskują technologie SMAC, takie jak: Big Data z zaawansowanymi narzędziami analitycznymi, chmura obliczeniowa, media społecznościowe oraz technologie mobilne. Równoczesny i dynamiczny rozwój tych rozwiązań prowadzi do ich coraz lepszej kompatybilności i coraz wyższej integracji. Celem artykułu jest wskazanie efektów zastosowań technologii SMAC na przykładzie dobrych praktyk oraz ocena ich znaczenia pod względem ewolucyjnej lub rewolucyjnej zmiany w zarządzaniu łańcuchem dostaw. Autorka opiera się na wynikach kwerendy źródeł literatury oraz studiach przypadków przedsiębiorstw rozwijających i wykorzystujących technologie cyfrowe.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The role of technologies in building competitive advantage of companies and supply chains is rising in the business of the 21st century. The following SMAC technologies have gained noticeable significance in supply chain management so far, namely: Big Data Analytics, cloud computing, social media and mobile technologies. The simultaneous and dynamic development of these solutions ensures their better compatibility and integrity. The aim of the article is to indicate the effects of SMAC technologies implementation in light of good practices and evaluation of their importance according to evolutionary or revolutionary change in supply chain management. The author's considerations are based on the results of literature review and case studies analysis presenting companies developing and using digital technologies in practice.(original abstract)
