The study presents a method to calculate material, element, furniture subassembly and assembly demand using the MRP/ERP method on the basis of upholstered furniture production. Using the MRP/ERP method exact amounts of required materials and components are determined and the schedule of deliveries for these materials and semi-finished products is defined in a situation when demand for finished products fluctuates with varying intensity.(original abstract)
