Abstrakty

Goryl górski jest jednym z najbardziej zagrożonych całkowitym wyginięciem gatunków zwierząt na świecie. Jego liczba sięga obecnie 880 osobników. Występuje na wyjątkowo niestabilnych politycznie terenach Afryki. Zmiany klimatu, przyczyniające się do zanikania lasów, w których żyją, to tylko jedne z wielu zagrożeń. Inne to wycinka lasów, kłusownictwo, produkcja węgla drzewnego czy choroby. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The mountain gorilla is one of the most endangered species in the world. Its number currently reaches 880 individuals. It occurs on exceptionally politically unstable areas of Africa. Climate change, contributing to the disappearance of the forests in which they live, are just one of many threats. Others include logging, poaching, charcoal production or diseases.
