Abstrakty
EN
Mitigating the degradation of environment requires the intervention of government, which by integrating the political, economic, and social actions may compensate for the shortcomings of free market, foster economic and social development, thus ensuring sustainable use of environment and resources, while protecting the society from the negative aftermath of globalization on the one hand, and egoistic, short-term benefits of corporations on the other.
