Celem artykułu jest ocena możliwości rozwoju aliansów otwartych innowacji w Polsce w sektorze biofarmaceutycznym. Zaprezentowane zostaną przykłady współpracy firm, uniwersytetów i instytutów badawczych w sektorze biofarmaceutycznym w Polsce. Wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w ramach ASAP (Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals) wskazują, iż współczesne duże firmy biofarmaceutyczne (biopharma companies) mają w swoim portfelu od 20 do 40 aliansów zawartych z uniwersytetami i instytucjami badawczymi.

The aim of the article is to verify the possibilities of development of open innovation alliances in Poland in the biopharmaceutical sector. The examples of cooperation of companies, universities and research institutes in the biopharmaceutical sector in Poland will be presented. The results of research of the Association of Strategic Alliance Profes-sionals (ASAP) show that today's large biopharma companies have 20 to 40 alliances with universities and research institutions in their portfolio. By partnering with universities through open innovation alliances, biopharmaceutical companies can significantly reduce the risks and costs of research programs, and speed up the deployment of innovative products on the market.(original abstract)
