W październiku wartość ogólnego wskaźnika koniunktury IRG SGH (IRGIND) zmniejszyła się w skali miesiąca o 1,2 pkt. Obecnie wynosi -6,6 pkt i jest niższa od wartości sprzed roku o 9,8 pkt. Dla sektora prywatnego wartość wskaźnika koniunktury obniżyła się w ciągu miesiąca o 0,9 pkt i wynosi -6,8 pkt. Jest niższa niż przed rokiem o 11,5 pkt. Dla sektora publicznego wartość IRGIND zmniejszyła się o 6,2 pkt do poziomu -6,2 pkt. Jest jednak wyższa od wartości sprzed roku o 4,9 pkt.(fragment tekstu)
In November, 2018 business situation in the manufacturing industry deteriorated. The industrial confidence indicator (ICI RIED) decreased by 1.2 pts to -6.6. pts, and is now 9.8 pts down from the respective last year figure. Negative cyclical factors reinforced. The monthly and annual decline of ICI was recorded for the majority of the distinguished groups of manufacturers. The deterioration of business situation manifested in the decrease of production, total and export orders, employment, and in the rise of finished goods inventories. Firms opinions about general economic situation in Poland worsened. They are very pessimistic about their future business prospects. Usually negative seasonal factors strengthen at the turn of a year, so the coming months are expected to support the declining trend which has been growing since the beginning of 2018.(original abstract)
