External and Internal Communication in Enterprises in the Context of Technological Transformation of Industry 4.0. Recommendations for Companies in Lower Silesia
Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
The basis for the technological transformation related to the implementation of the Industry 4.0 concept is the extensive and appropriate use of the latest IT solutions. Information models, which provide a detailed description of IT properties required to create integration inside and outside smart factories, are among many reference models describing the paradigms of the Industry 4.0 concept. Interoperability is an essential requirement for information exchange in the Industry 4.0 paradigm. Therefore, in order to meet this requirement it is necessary not only to indicate which current or known standards should be the base for its future implementation, but also to identify areas and directions of this transformation. The article raises the issue of information exchange in business with a view of requirements for Industry 4.0 paradigm, which requires the introduction of specific solutions (implementation of new standards, changes in currently operating systems, etc.). Currently, there is a tendency to create modern communication solutions which are easily modifiable and can operate in the broadly understood "cloud". The article attempts to identify and holistically approach the factors determining the emergence of such solutions. Basing on their own pilot studies, the authors identify areas which need special attention and rapid transformation in the currently operating enterprises in order to meet the requirements of the Industry 4.0 paradigm.
