Abstrakty
EN
Entrepreneurial competencies influence decisions to start ventures as well as their probability of success. Just what competencies are perceived to be crucial may stem from the approach to the entrepreneurial process that is adopted. The effectual approach sees entrepreneurship as a spontaneous act of creating, while the causal approach looks at it as planned decision-making. Different sets of competencies are necessary in each of these approaches. Analysis of both models of entrepreneurship allows the proposing of a preliminary list of competencies, both characterizing and differentiating them. In the future, this list is intended to serve the development of a tool facilitating the diagnosis and measurement of such competencies. (original abstract)
