Abstrakty

Główne rezultaty dotyczące postawionych celów artykułu wynikają z analizy zbieżności procesów konwergencji kapitału fizycznego i ludzkiego oraz zasobów pracy. Cele te, w odwołaniu do endogenicznego modelu Mankiwa, kształtują zasadniczą część rozważań i nawiązują do spójności gospodarczej i społecznej różnych grup krajów. Istotna część artykułu koncentruje się na prezentacji zjawiska konwergencji wplecionego w określone, kontrowersyjne pod względem metodycznym pomiary, wynikające ze sposobu ujęcia szacowania PKB per capita, ale głównie ukazuje dodatkową zmienną, jaką jest kapitał wiedzy. Badania dotyczące konwergencji państw Unii Europejskiej są szeroko komentowane w literaturze, z tego względu nie poświęcono tej tematyce zbyt wiele uwagi. Zasadnicza część artykułu odnosi się do tła gospodarczego i politycznego współczesnego świata z istotną podstawą, jaką stanowią kapitał wiedzy i jego pomiar.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The main results concerning the set goals of the article concern the analysis of convergence with respect to convergence processes with the view of physical and human capital, as well as labour resources. They usually refer to the Mankiw model being a generalization of the neo-classical Solow model. The main purpose of the considerations conducted in the article may lead to the conclusion that the phenomenon of convergence raises some methodical controversies resulting from the inclusion of the very method of estimating GDP per capita, but mainly the additional Mankiw variable. Studies on the convergence of EU countries are widely commented in the literature. For this reason, too little attention has been devoted to this subject. One can only say with a high degree of probability that as a result of the transformation processes of the Central and Eastern European countries they gained the most in the context of the convergence processes in the rest of the world.(original abstract)
