Abstrakty

Spójność społeczna jest przedmiotem rozważań teoretycznych i analiz oraz ważnym celem polityki społecznej. Jej wielowymiarowość powoduje, że rozważania prowadzone na jej temat koncentrują się z reguły na wybranych elementach spójności. Przedmiotem opracowania jest analiza wyników dwóch badań ankietowych studentów Uniwersytetu Szczecińskiego. Obydwa dotyczyły kapitału społecznego ankietowanych studentów, a na potrzeby artykułu wybrano jedynie fragmenty tych badań. Głównym celem artykułu jest przedstawienie wyników wspomnianych badań odnoszących się do dokonanej przez studentów oceny wybranych aspektów spójności społecznej: zaufania, solidarności i dobroczynności oraz wskazanie, czy zdobyta przez studentów w czasie studiów wiedza ma wpływ na dokonywane przez nich oceny. Wyniki badań sugerują niski poziom zaufania, jakim respondenci obdarzają innych ludzi i instytucje, co może być główną przeszkodą w realizacji idei spójności społecznej(abstrakt oryginalny)

Social cohesion is the subject of theoretical considerations and analyses and an important goal of social policy. Its multidimensionality causes that the considerations conducted on it usually focus on selected elements of cohesion. The subject of the study is the analysis of the results of two surveys of students of the University of Szczecin. Both studies concerned the social capital of the surveyed students, and for the purposes of the article only fragments of these studies were selected. The main aim of the article is to analyze the results of these surveys referring to the assessment of some aspects of social cohesion, i.e. trust, solidarity, charity, and whether the knowledge gained by students in the course of studies affects their assessments. The results of the conducted research suggest a low level of trust (to other people and institutions), which may be the main obstacle to the implementation of the idea of social cohesion(original abstract)
