The term living conditions of the population includes a set of all the circumstances determining the human existence. These are all of the factors determining the satisfaction of human needs. A. Hodoly [1973, p. 9] distinguished four basic elements of living conditions: personal living conditions, social conditions, ecological living conditions and working conditions. According to another classification, there is a division into: general, natural, economic and spiritual conditions [Ostasiewicz, ed., 2002, p. 14], General living conditions include: political and social system, security, the rule of law, state administrative efficiency, activities of political and social organizations, civil liberties. The natural conditions of existence of the population consist of conditions resulting from the environment in which a person lives. Among the economic conditions of the population are the following: income, prices, supply, working conditions, social and other benefits. Spiritual conditions are created by cultural and educational institutions.(fragment of text)
