This article examines the locational determinants of Chinese multinational corporations. The research first presents data of China's outward foreign direct investment to find out what are the unique characteristics of internationalization process of Chinese firms. In addition, the paper extends previous approach to international expansion from the resource-based view. By drawing on Mathews' explication of Linkage, Leverage and Learning, this article gives an account of global strategies of Chinese firms. The development of China's foreign policies, such as One Belt One Road, seems to open a new way to enhance network structure assisting economic performance of international firms. Thus, it is becoming increasingly important to understand features of globalization by emerging economies. This research focusing on expansion strategies of Chinese multinational corporations will contribute to deal with this issue. (original abstract)
W artykule analizie poddano determinanty lokalizacyjne chińskich korporacji międzynarodowych. Przedstawiono dane dotyczące zagranicznych inwestycjach bezpośrednich Chin oraz zidentyfikowano unikalne cechy procesu internacjonalizacji chińskich przedsiębiorstw. Autorka rozszerza tradycyjne podejście do ekspansji międzynarodowej oparte na poszukiwaniu zasobów. W oparciu o koncepcję 3L Mathews'a (Linkage, Leverage, Learnining), omówiono strategie globalne chińskich przedsiębiorstw. Rozwój chińskiej polityki zagranicznej, w tym zwłaszcza koncepcji "Pasa i Drogi" (One Belt One Road), otwiera nowe możliwości poszerzenia struktury sieciowej wspomagającej wyniki gospodarcze firm międzynarodowych.
