Abstrakty

W opracowaniu przedstawiono najważniejsze fakty związane z kształtowaniem się nierówności dochodowych w 21 krajach OECD w latach 2005-2015. Głównym przedmiotem zainteresowania było zbadanie czy kraje, w których występują wyższe nierówności w rozkładzie dochodów rynkowych, stosują większy zakres polityki redystrybucyjnej oraz czy te działania powodują ograniczenie rozpiętości pomiędzy krajami generowane przez rynkowe zróżnicowanie dochodów. Ostatecznie stwierdzono, że decydujący wpływ na kształt polityki podatkowo-transferowej mają przede wszystkim modele społeczno-gospodarcze funkcjonujące w poszczególnych krajach, w zdecydowanie mniejszym stopniu zaś pierwotne zróżnicowanie dochodów. The study presents the main facts related to the formation of income inequalities in 21 OECD countries in the years 2005-2015. The main interest was to examine whether countries with higher market inequalities use a larger scope of redistributive policy and whether these measures cause the limitation of the range between countries generated by the market income differentiation. Finally, it was found that the decisive influence on the shape of the tax-benefit policy is primarily due to the idiosyncratic socio-economic model in individual countries, while the market income diversification is definitely less significant.
