W październiku wartość ogólnego wskaźnika koniunktury IRG SGH (IRGIND) zwiększyła się względem wartości z września o 0,5 pkt i wynosi -10,1 pkt. Jest jednak niższa od wartości sprzed roku o 4,9 pkt. Dla sektora prywatnego wartość wskaźnika koniunktury zmniejszyła się w ciągu miesiąca o 2,5 pkt i jest równa -11,9 pkt. Jest niższa niż przed rokiem o 6,2 pkt. Dla sektora publicznego wartość wskaźnika wzrosła o 33,5 pkt do poziomu 9,4 pkt. Jest o 9,4 pkt wyższa od wartości sprzed roku(fragment tekstu)
In October, 2019 business situation in the manufacturing industry slightly improved. The industrial confidence indicator (ICI RIED) grew by 0.5 pts to -10.1 pts, and is now 4.9 pts down from the respective year 2018 figure. The annual decline of the indicator is lower than recorded in September, which might indicate that negative cyclical factors are going to cease, and the slowdown that has evolved since the beginning of 2018 is about to come to an end. The results of the October survey are better than expected. Though the majority of the balances dropped, the decreases are minor, and the balances of production and total orders even rose. The improvement was reported mainly by big companies (employing over 250 persons). It is them to have received larger orders and invested more. Manufacturers' expectations for the coming months are modestly optimistic.(original abstract)
