The shift of production to poverty-stricken countries is accompanied by an approach focusing on making fashion trends available quickly and cheaply to consumers and a demand-driven manufacturing system in the apparel industry. This paper explores Polish consumers' awareness, attitude, ethical behaviors and the way of perceiving the quality of "fast fashion" products in Social Responsibility perspective. A Polish consumer survey based on CAWI and PAPI methodology was done. Consumers declaring "fast fashion shopping behavior" were considered. Surveyed consumers are willing to consider the CSR activities of "fast fashion" brands, the price is the most important factor when making purchase decision. The assessment of consumer awareness in the field of CSR can be used to guide future public education activities in this area, especially in the era of accelerated consumption and sustainable development goals. Research results can also be a premise to determine the direction of activities related to CSR for "fast fashion" retailers. (original abstract)
