As we speak more and more about remote work and the benefits and limitations of applying ICT tools, a book by Jacek Woźniak devoted to managing workers in the Internet age has made its appearance on the publishing market. The author treats the Internet, or more broadly "information and communication technology," as a tool facilitating strategic agility in organizations and agile human capital management. Information tools and communication techniques supported by technology (as a general reference to computer and Internet applications) were used in the past in human resource management. However, it was not until the first two decades of the 21st century that what Woźniak calls attention to enriched possibilities for accumulating, processing, and transferring information and was made possible, primarily thanks to mobile phones and social media.
