Studia literatury wykazały przewagę badań empirycznych przeprowadzonych za pomocą konstruktu STARA awareness, w krajach rozwiniętych, z udziałem pracowników branż usługowych z obszaru turystyki i gościnności, głównie branży hotelowej.

The widespread use of advanced AI technologies in organizations affects not only cost reduction, increased service efficiency or customer satisfaction. Treated as a threat to the future of work, it may also indirectly negatively impact employees. However, despite many years of intensive technological development, the current state of knowledge regarding employees' fears related to technology in the organization is relatively small. This article attempts to analyze the results of research conducted to inventory the state of knowledge, indicate identified areas, and show gaps. Particular attention was also paid to the tools used to study the indicated phenomenon and the variables determining the strength and nature of its effects. Literature studies have shown the advantage of empirical research conducted using the STARA awareness construct in developed countries, with the participation of employees of service industries in the field of tourism and hospitality, with a predominance of the hotel industry. Technological fears of employees affect variables such as intention to leave, commitment, creativity, human-robot cooperation, hiding knowledge, job satisfaction, professional burnout, cynicism, or even cause depression. Moderating factors include perceived organizational support, competitive psychological climate, transformational leadership, and the type of work performed. The severe effects of technological fears on employees' functioning and the impact on significant organizational phenomena show the importance of the topic in research on management sciences and justify the increased interest. The article ends with an attempt to show state-of-the-art conceptually, emphasizing the gaps that need to be filled.(original abstract)
