Banks are special entities of public trust. Provision of services to con-sumers and constantly evolving banking offer requires banks to be ac-countable and give the best example to the public. This study will present the directions of new actions undertaken by Polish and foreign banks within CSR policies. The purpose of this chapter is to present new directions of Corporate Social Responsibility (further: CSR) on the banking services market. The publication will contain a comparative analysis of Polish and for-eign literature. The literature analysis will include available secondary data, such as information from the banks websites, bank reports on CSR policy and international banking rankings awarding outstanding examples of CSR activities.(fragment of text)
