Koszty eksploatacyjne instalacji obejmują: koszty operacyjne niepaliwowe (stałe i zmienne), koszty kapitałowe, koszty węgla, koszty transportu, składowania i monitoringu CO2. Rachunek kosztów sporządzono dla dwóch scenariuszy: a) scenariusz 1 - przewidujący, w świetle prognozowanych zmian dotyczących praw do emisji CO2, zakup 100 % uprawnień do emisji dwutlenku węgla; b) scenariusz 2 - przewidujący budowę instalacji usuwania, transportu i składowania CO2.
Content available remote On Composite Estimation Utilizing Regression and Classification Method
80%
Several estimation procedure have been developed to compensate for the deterioration in properties of parameter estimates resulting from sample data incompleteness. Most of them make use of available auxiliary data following one of two general approaches. The first approach relies on dependencies between auxiliary variables and the variable under study. This usually leads to the construction of various ratio and regression estimators. The second approach explores dependencies between auxiliary variables and response behaviour of population units. This provides motivation to a broad range of methods such as weighting adjustments and classification estimators. In this paper a composite estimator of the population mean incorporating both approaches is considered. It is constructed as a combination of the well-known regression estimator and a classification estimator utilizing Bayesian quadratic discrimination function. The weights of the combination reflect the regression model's goodness of fit and the classification quality. Hence, greater weight is assigned to the estimator for which available observations of auxiliary variables are more useful. Simulation results exposing its properties are presented in the paper. 80%
The paper deals with a problem of estimating the total on the basis of data observed on Internet sample. The Poisson sampling design without replacement is used as a basic model of generation of Internet sample. Its particular case is so called the Bernoulli sampling design without replacement when all the response probabilities are the same. Some estimators (including logit type one) of the population mean as well as of the total are considered. Their variances are evaluated and their estimators, too. (original abstract)

Content available remote On Prediction of Totals for Domains Defined by Random Attributes
80%
The problem of prediction of domain totals is widely discussed in the small area estimation literature (e.g. Rao 2003). In the classic approach it assumed that the population is divided into disjoint domains and sum of domains gives the whole set of population elements. In this paper we define random variables which realizations inform if the i-th population element has the attribute d (belongs to the d-th random domain). What is more, one population element may have no attribute or more than one attribute. The proposed model may be treated as the model assuming random overlapping domains. We present the problem of prediction of a domain total (or being more precise - total value for element of population with some attributes) based on the general linear mixed model (GLMM). Different model (assuming inter alia that one population element may belong at random only to one of domains) was considered by Żądło (2006). The main aim of this paper is to present the equation of the best linear unbiased predictor (BLUP) and its mean squared error (MSE) under the proposed model. Additionally the problem of estimation of model parameters will be studied and its influence on the predictor's accuracy will be considered in the simulation study. (original abstract)

In this article, we have derived suitable U-statistics from a sample of any size exceeding a specified integer to estimate the location and scale parameters of Lindley distribution without the evaluation of means, variances and co-variances of order statistics of an equivalent sample size arising from the corresponding standard form of distribution. The exact variances of the estimators have been also obtained. (original abstract)
In this paper, an investigation has been carried out to deal with a unified approach of estimation procedures of population variance in two-phase sampling design under missing at random non-response mechanism circumstances. Using two auxiliary variables, we have developed different chain-type exponential estimators of finite population variance for two different set-ups and studied their properties under the different assumption of random non-response considered by Tracy and Osahan (1994). The comparisons of the proposed estimators have been made with some contemporary estimators of population variance under the similar realistic conditions. Numerical illustrations are presented to support the theoretical results. Results are analysed and suitable recommendations are put forward to the survey statisticians . (original abstract)

Content available remote Full Information Efficient Estimator of Finite Population Variance
80%
Second order or quadratic and finite population parametric functions may be expressed as total of variable-values on pairs of units in a derived population. Recently, Sitter and Wu (2002) utilized this approach for estimating variance under model calibration. In this paper an efficient design based full-information estimator of finite population variance has been suggested. The exact expression of its variance and its relative efficiency has also been derived. Finally, the proposed estimator has been shown to be superior to its competitors in an empirical investigation. Content available remote A General Class of Estimators Under Multi Phase Sampling
80%
This paper derives the general estimators for finite population mean using multivariate auxiliary information under multiphase sampling. Here a number of auxiliary variables are considered in each phase under general sampling design. The properties of these estimators are studied and the results are presented for simple random sampling without replacement (SRSWOR) scheme. Using a modified cost function the optimum sample sizes are also derived. (original abstract)
The article contains some theoretical remarks about selected models of position parameters estimation as well as numerical examples of the problem. We ask a question concerning the existence of possible measures of the quality of interval estimation and we mention some popular measures applied to the task. Point estimation is insufficient in practical problems and it is rather interval estimation that is in wide use. Too wide interval suggests that the information available is not sufficient to make a decision and that we should look for more information, perhaps by increasing the sample size. (original abstract)
The author examines the econometric model where all variables are standarized. Co-Linearity: It is assumed that the number of observations ? is larger than the estimated parameters k and that the explanatory variables create the co-linear set. Therefore, n>k and rank Z>k where Z is the matrix of observations conducted on explanatory variables. Modifying the algorythm proposed in [3], the author reduces the parameter estimation to the instance of a matrix of regular column observation, i.e. its row is equal to the number of all its columns. Degeneration: It is assumed that the number of observations n is smaller than the number of estimated parameters k, i.e. there occurs a so-called insufficient numerosity attempt - a degenerate attempt.Modifying the algorythm presented in [4], the author reduces the parameter estimation to the instance of the matrix of regular column observations. In a comparison to the case of colinearity, the author considers subsets with a maximum number of linear independent columns not greater than n- 1. (original abstract)
The aim of the paper is to obtain an objective opinion from the experts. Experts are evaluated on the basis of the accordance of their preferences with the total preferences. The inversion distribution was applied. This distribution is associated with inversions occurring in the tau-Kendall test. The probabilities obtained as a result of estimation are needed to construct the estimator of demand.(original abstract)
