Odpowiednio skonstruowany i funkcjonujący system instrumentów ochrony środowiska zapewnia trwałe zmniejszenie presji na środowisko przyrodnicze. W przypadku urynkowienia gospodarki podmioty gospodarcze dotknięte bezpośrednio problemami zanieczyszczenia środowiska dostosowują się do istniejących instrumentów dążąc do optymalizacji rachunku kosztów. Wymaga to opracowania strategii zarządzania środowiskowego. Jednym z narzędzi zarządzania środowiskowego jest - obok Czystszej Produkcji, Systemów Zarządzania Środowiskowego czy też controllingu ekologicznego - marketing ekologiczny. (fragment tekstu)

Content available remote Rachunek kosztów ELCC a ekomarketing w działalności przedsiębiorstw
63%

Nowadays, world-wide recognized corporations seek methods and instruments which enable them an effective flow of information concerning their actions as far as environment and sustainable development issues are concerned. It seems that marketing tools work well within this field. That is how ecological marketing (EM) originated with its advantages and drawbacks including greenwashing. The paper is committed to the analysis of this phenomenon, used to describe the unjustified appropriation of environmental virtue by a company to create a pro-environmental image. The article also presents common mechanisms of EM, shows how greenwashing works in practice and shares research results concerning purchasing habits (focusing on environmental issues) in China, USA and Great Britain. Współczesny marketing obok produktu, ceny, promocji i dystrybucji uwzględnia nowy czynnik - środowisko.
Purpose: The study aims to provide a deeper insight into the dilemmas of eco-marketing in the pro-environmental orientation of business management by examining the correlations between cost efficiency and product price increases in the implementation of eco-marketing. The scientific novelty of the article lies in demonstrating a strong positive correlation between cost efficiency and product price increases in enterprises implementing eco-marketing within a pro-environmental management orientation. Design/methodology/approach: The study employed literature review and statistical analysis using Spearman's rank correlation to investigate the relationship between cost efficiency and product price increases in the implementation of eco-marketing. Findings: The results of the study indicate that there is a strong positive correlation between cost efficiency and product price increases in enterprises that implement eco-marketing in an pro-environmental management orientation. Research limitations/implications: Further research in this area should take into account the complexity of decision-making processes in the implementation of an pro-environmental management orientation of the enterprise and the possibility of balancing costs and benefits of eco-marketing to improve efficiency in the short and long term. Practical implications: A clear implication of the research is that a better understanding of the dilemmas of eco-marketing influences the perception of business costs and product prices through the prism of an pro-environmental orientation of business management. The results of the presented study could help enterprises understand how to increase competitiveness and strengthen their corporate image through eco-marketing. Social implications: The study shows that companies that implement eco-marketing as part of an pro-environmental orientation strengthen their social responsibility, which can lead to more efficient resource management to reduce negative environmental impacts. Originality/value: This article contributes to the discussion on the understanding of the dilemmas of eco-marketing in an pro-environmental orientation of business management by examining the relationship between cost efficiency and product price increases in the implementation of eco-marketing. The issue of understanding the dilemmas of eco-marketing is important and topical, as it enables the shaping of pro-environmental policies in business management. Category of the paper: Research paper. (original abstract)
Porównano działania marketingowe podejmowane przez spółki dystrybucyjne zajmujące się obrotem energią elektryczną w Polsce. Purpose: The aim of the study is to fill the noted gap by deepening the understanding of the mandatory and optional rationales for implementing eco-marketing in pro-environmental enterprise management, identifying them and assessing the determinants of their implementation. Design/Methodology/Approach: The research methods adopted in order to achieve the purpose include: in the theoretical part: literature studies; in the research part: research was conducted using a survey questionnaire, frequency analysis was conducted and Spearman's rank correlation were used to examine the strength and direction of the relationship among the variables studied. Findings: The results obtained suggest that the relationship between the mandatory and the optional premises for implementing eco-marketing in pro-environmental enterprise management is becoming an important criterion for the success of pro-environmental attitudes in enterprise management. Research Limitations/Implications: The research shows that the increase in the importance of legislation in the eco-marketing approach is accompanied by an increase in the fad for the use of eco measures, which underscores the need for a holistic approach that combines legal requirements with dynamic market trends. This opens up new avenues of research that can contribute to a better understanding of how to comprehensively integrate these premises into companies' pro-environmental activities. Practical Implications: The results of the research indicating a strong relationship between the mandatory premises (laws) and the optional ones (fad for eco-activities), have important practical implications for enterprises, as they cannot only have an impact on strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises, by building a sustainable reputation in the market, but can also make it possible to minimize the risks arising from eco-marketing regulations. Social Implications: The results of the research, which indicate a strong correlation between the mandatory and optional premises for implementing eco-marketing, have important implications for the society, as combining legislation with market trends can contribute to building a more environmentally conscious society, which translates into better environmental stewardship and increased transparency and trust in relations between businesses and customers. Originality/Value: This article contributes to research on understanding the relationship between the mandatory and the optional premises for implementing eco-marketing in pro-environmental enterprise management. By focusing on a combination of mandatory legal standards and optional environmental initiatives, companies are responding to market expectations, building credibility and public trust. This in turn promotes the ideas of sustainability and environmental responsibility among the public. (original abstract)
The focus of this paper is propose and test a model of the effects of specific attitudinal constructs on the frequency of green purchase behaviour (GPB). Consumers' confidence, competence, and effectiveness are operationalized by a path model hypothesizing both direct and mediated effects of these antecedents on GPB. The measures are obtained from a survey of a representative sample of 419 undergraduates and analysed in a structural equations model framework. The frequency of green purchase behaviour depends on subjective knowledge of green issues, which is a direct consequence of consumers' beliefs in the effectiveness of green behaviour, and an indirect consequence of consumers' trust on claims made by green advocates. Results confirm the crucial importance of credibility of green marketing and the concomitant need for strategies to overcome consumers' distrust. (original abstract)
Research background: Currently the degradation of the environment which consumers contribute to is an important problem. Purchase behavior plays a key role as it is associated with the choice of products by consumers who are increasingly taking into account environmentally-friendly criteria. The effective implementation of marketing strategies that take into account the principles of sustainable development is possible under the condition of changes in the behavior of purchasers. Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to analyze the importance of environmentally-friendly attributes for product purchasers.Research methodology: The research was conducted among 650 Polish consumers. An online survey method was applied. Results: The study confirms that environmentally-friendly attributes do not play a primary role while choosing products. Hedonic, health and economic benefits take place before environmental benefits. For women, eco-friendly attributes were more important when choosing products, while men were more driven by economic and functional benefits. Young people are hedonists guided by taste and aesthetics, and they do not pay much attention to the environmentally-friendly attributes of products. In turn, older respondents are economical and pragmatic buyers for whom energy efficiency and product durability are of particular importance. Novelty: The research adds the value as for understanding the phenomenon of the green purchase gap, especially in developing countries where positive attitudes towards green products are not translated into real purchasing behavior. The research quotes some implication for marketing, especially for marketing communication strategies. (original abstract)

Zaprezentowano przykłady proekologicznych rozwiązań w zakresie dystrybucji.
Purpose. The human influence on the environment and its protection are subjects of marketing communication, and numerous regulations were issued to control the "green" messages. The popularity of such practices makes it essential to compare the reactions to green marketing and greenwashing in two European societies and to check how "green" awareness of European consumers translates into behavior. Design/method/approach. The review of literature and decisions regulating green marketing is followed by a CAWI study of the French and Polish young consumers ecological attitudes, intentions, and behaviors. ANOVA and linear regression methods were used to analyze data. Findings. The French young consumers are more pro-environmentally focused than Poles and display more robust skepticism toward sustainable claims. The Poles, more than the French, focus on the products' primary functions. Both groups show higher levels of spontaneous awareness of greenwashing than average consumers in those two countries. Our hypotheses about relationships of ecological attitudes with purchase intentions and behavior were supported. Surprisingly, there was a negative relation between French nationality and environmental behaviors. Originality/Value. There is a regional market segment of European consumers from Generation Z who react similarly to green marketing claims and reject the greenwashing actions. They are highly environmentally aware, but the relationships between their eco-attitudes and behaviors, albeit significant, are weak. Practical implications. The marketers aiming their activity at the young customer segment should not expect an immediate influence of ecological attitudes on behaviors. This market segment can instead become a powerful influencing group among their societies. (original abstract)
