W artykule scharakteryzowano "correspondent banking" i omówiono zadania, jakie spełnia w bankach komercyjnych. "Correspondent banking" jest jedną z dziedzin bankowości międzynarodowej, która przeszła w ostatnim okresie wiele zmian. Zmiany te obejowały wszelkie aspekty "correspondent banking" - od typu oferowanych produktów, przez metody szacowania i kosztochłonności usług, do metod promowania i rozwoju marketingu na rynkach międzynarodowych.

In this paper has been presented the role of correspondent banking in the bank. Correspondent banking is one of the many areas of international banking activity that has undergone changes in the past decade. These changes have affected nearly all aspects of correspondent banking, ranging from the type of products offered, through the methods of costing and pricing services, to the methods of promoting and marketing employed in todey's competitive markets.
