Abstrakty
The paper presents the analysis of the structural changes in the Polish sector of micro enterprises (up to 9 employees), according to sectors of national economy and according to provinces. The analysis includes period 1999-2004 and has been prepared on the Main Statistical Office data basis. It has been demonstrated that the significance of economy sectors connected with satisfying higher level needs and raising the living standard of the society, is increasing. Changes in the regional structure of the sector of micro-enterprises are relatively little, which can indicate the low efficiency of entrepreneurship support policy.
