Jednym z instrumentów finansowych najlepiej dopasowanych do potrzeb przedsiębiorców jest faktoring, który od kilku lat w Polsce i kilkudziesięciu na świecie przeżywa intensywny rozwój. Według analityków, obecny kryzys finansowy może być kolejnym motorem rozwoju tego instrumentu. (fragment tekstu)

Factoring business needs using IT solutions. There are many causes to use IT to support factoring business: 1.Factoring is a kind of banking activity and very often is offered by banks as one of financial products and must be serviced like the other products. 2. There are recorded a lot of information about clients, agreements and invoices, during factoring transactions. All of information can be used currently and in the future. 3. Factoring business is connected with many types of risks. IT solutions must prevent making risks or decrease results of risk appearance. 4. International Factoring Associations, like IFG or FCI, support factors in communication between factors and their clients in the world. They have their own systems with communication standards. Systems used by factors - members of these organizations - ought to have interfaces to these systems. (original abstract)
