Abstrakty

W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań kosztów eksploatacji i rewaloryzacji budynków starego Krakowa oraz źródła ich finansowania.

The paper is a presentation of the results of studies on the costs of use and restoration of nine buildings in the centre of Cracow. They are the houses administered by the state (PGM "Śródmieście") or private owners. In spite of the fact that in recent years the rents were changed three times, their role in the housing management financing did not grow in importance. In the case of the PGM houses the rents covered 51 per cent of the costs of use in the years 1982-1988, 48 per cent in 1989, and only 44per cent in the first half-year of 1990. In the case of the privately-owned houses the rent receipts exceed the costs of use. The unit costs of use differ significantly depending on the form of management. These differences result from the adoption of various administration methods. In the case of private tenement-houses the adopted system ensures full control and higher effectiveness.
