EN
The paper is a critical survey of the recent research on globalisation, inequality, and growth. In spite of opinions of the so called alterglobalists, there is no unambiguous evidence that the inequality has been growing for the last twenty years. There is no unambiguous evidence that the inequality has been declining either. There is however weak evidence that globalisation (and openness) can give a chance the economy to grow, and finally a chance to reduce inequalities. (original abstract)
