Abstrakty

Globalizacja, technologie komunikacyjno-informatyczne, radykalnie zmieniają istotę działania przedsiębiorstw oraz sposoby tworzenia wartości. Decydujące znaczenie dla przetrwania i wzrostu wartości przedsiębiorstw odgrywa szybkie dostosowanie się do następstw tych przemian. Zmieniająca się dynamika rynków, niepewność, niestabilność otoczenia, ale i rosnąca świadomość konsumentów, stwarza potrzebę ciągłego wdrażania innowacji. Istnieje wiele różnych źródeł innowacji, które mogą być wykorzystywane przez przedsiębiorstwa dla uzyskiwania przewagi konkurencyjnej. Coraz częściej przedsiębiorstwa sięgają do źródeł innowacji istniejących w krajach rozwijających się, w klastrach wiedzy i technologii, których powstanie i rozwój odzwierciedla procesy delokalizacji działalności lub poszczególnych funkcji przedsiębiorstw. Zdaniem autorów przedsiębiorstwa mogą zwiększać poziom innowacyjności poprzez efektywne wykorzystanie offshoringu. (abstrakt oryginalny)

Globalization, information and communication technologies (ICT) are rapidly changing the sense of enterprises' activity and means of creating value. Decisive factor for survival and growth of enterprises' value is the process of reacting quickly to the effects of those changes. Swiftly evolving markets, anxiety, instability of environment, but also growing consumers' consciousness, create the need of constant introduction of innovation. There are many sources of innovation which can be utilized by enterprises aiming to gain a competitive advantage. More and more frequently enterprises acquire innovative solutions in developing countries, in knowledge and technology clusters. Their creation and development reflects the offshoring process of activity or particular functions of enterprises. According to the authors, the enterprises can increase their level of innovativeness throughout the effective use of offshoring. (original abstract)
