Abstrakty

Niniejsze opracowanie ściśle wiąże się z realizacją projektu SP2011/112 "Specyfikacje i formy zapewnienia usług ICT wymagane przez MiŚP w Moravskoslezském regionie", EkF, VSB-TU Ostrava. Dane ilościowe, na potrzeby projektu, zostały zgromadzone z wykorzystaniem ankiety elektronicznej (150 respondentów) przeprowadzonej w 2011 roku. Próba respondentów składa się głównie z prywatnych firm usługowych, zatrudniających 50-250 pracowników. Kwestionariusze ankiety były wypełniane głównie przez właścicieli firm, dyrektorów, kadrę zarządzającą, menedżerów i specjalistów IT. (fragment tekstu)

The aim of research focused on the use of IT to support the activities of small and medium-sized enterprises and organizations (SMEs) in the Moravian-Silesian Region is to improve the quality of the information systems used and thus the competitiveness of companies and institutions, taking into account their financial and investment possibilities. The authors' attention is paid to the benefits of using Business Intelligence tools in the management of companies and institutions. The advantages and limiting factors of Cloud Computing technologies for companies and government are also presented. At the end the authors reported a number of recommendations for the current use of ICT in SMEs. (original abstract)
