Abstrakty
W artykule przeprowadzono analizę dyskryminacyjną akcji 23 spółek notowanych na GPW w Warszawie, na podstawie wielkości średniego bid-ask-speadu, średniego wolumenu transakcji i średniej częstotliwości zawierania transakcji. Wybrane do analizy dyskryminacyjnej charekterystyki papierów wartościowych mają za zadanie zmierzyć łatwość handlowania danym papierem wartościowym. (fragment tekstu)
The author presents the practical application of Glosten-Harris model to evaluate the stock liquidity. The quality of companies classification was compared on account of their stock liquidity according to Glosten-Harris model involving the recommendation of the linear discriminant analysis. As discriminant factors there were applied: bid-ask spread, volume and the frequency of transactions. Empirical analysis was conducted for the stock market shares recorded on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. (original abstract)
