Abstrakty

W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono oraz dokonano analizy danych dotyczących zmian w podziale administracyjnym miast i gmin w województwach Makroregionu Południowo-Wschodniego (MPW) za lata 1976-1987.

The paper presents an analysis of data dealing with changes in the administrative division of towns and parishes in the years 1976-1987 in 8 voivodships of South-Eastern Macroregion. The changes consisted in the abolishment or creation of new units and correction of borders of the existing ones. Empirical material has been compiled on the basis of a minute analysis of adequate authorities' decisions included in legal acts. The author has allowed in the investigations for time distribution of the introduced changes which made it possible to grasp the general tendencies as regards the modification of administrative division. The author has also specified the types of introduced changes and identified some phenomena they were accompanied with. As a result the author has been able to point out hypothetical mechanisms that functioned in the policy of the shaping of administrative division on the basic level. (original abstract)
