Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest prezentacja podstaw i zmian modelu człowieka gospodarującego, od modelu homo oeconomicus do modelu REMM (resourcing, evaluating, maximizing man) oraz zastosowania tych modeli do wyjaśniania i normatywnej analizy. Odpowiednio do tego celu w drugiej części artykułu zostanie omówiony model natury człowieka gospodarującego. W trzeciej i czwartej części przedstawione są przykłady zastosowania tego modelu do wyjaśnienia trzech zjawisk: nielegalnej działalności, nieproduktywnej przedsiębiorczości oraz korupcji. Za pomocą tych przykładów zostaną omówione możliwości aplikacyjne wyjaśniania sytuacyjnego oraz ich ograniczenia. W podsumowaniu, kończącym artykuł znajdą się etyczne refleksje odnoszące się do możliwości i ograniczeń normatywnej analizy prowadzonej w ramach przedstawionego paradygmatu ekonomii głównego nurtu. This report concentrates on changes in the model of economic man, based on the principle of methodological individualism, from homo oeconomicus through homo satisfciendis to the REMM model of the resourceful, evaluative and maximizing man. Some aspects of these changes refer to economic calculations in non-economic areas of human activities and the constantly widening range of costs and benefits. Due to these changes the model of economic man has been applied for explaining human choices between ethical and unethical activities as well as legal and illegal ones. In the area of morality, conscience and the social mirror, the calculation of costs and benefits are more and more present. The aim of the report is to present two occurrences: corruption and non-productive enterprise using the REMM model. The analysis of the calculations and choices aims to draw attention to the importance of formal and informal institutions, which provide valuation and incentives for creating alternatives and making choices, as well as to justify economic man's activities in the field of transforming institutions.
