A process of education and reparation of citizens to realisation of civil protection measures can be regarded as an activity that, with its content, methods and organization, is in considerable extent linked up with paramilitary training attending development of mankind. The development of system of education and preparation to civil protection is an important part and one of the crucial factors for civil protection effectiveness. The build up of a modern system of education and preparation to civil protection in the present period of development of Slovakia as1 a democratic society has all necessary prerequisites in view of organization, legislation, staff and equipment(original abstract)
