The aim of this article is to present the theoretical and practical aspects of the specifics of mediation proceedings. I present my own research results, consisting of an analysis of the court records for 405 cases on the effectiveness of conditional discontinuance of criminal proceedings within the areas of jurisdiction of the Appellate Court in Kraków in 2003-2009. I will continue the analysis for the successive stages of criminal proceedings. (original abstract)

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie teoretycznych i praktycznych aspektów związanych z instytucją mediacji oraz specyfiką jej przeprowadzenia. Niniejszy wpływ mediacji zostanie opisany za pomocą postulatów de lege ferenda wynikających z analizy wyników badań własnych 405 spraw sądowych dotyczących efektywności warunkowego umorzenia postępowania karnego z lat 2003-2009, opatrzonych sygnaturą akt sądów rejonowych i sądu okręgowego położonych na obszarze właściwości Sądu Okręgowego w Krakowie. Analiza omawianej problematyki zostanie przedstawiona przez kolejne etapy postępowania karnego. (abstrakt oryginalny)
