Abstrakty

To pierwsze takie badania w polskiej literaturze. Głównym celem było porównanie nasilenia myślenia magicznego pomiędzy mężczyznami i kobietami. Przebadano 104 psychicznie zdrowych studentów (w tym 52 kobiet i 52 mężczyzn) w wieku od 21 do 27 lat (M=22). Wykazano statystycznie istotną (p<0,001) różnicę międzypłciową w poziomie intensywności myślenia magicznego. Średni poziom myślenia magicznego mężczyzn wyniósł 29,92 a kobiet 20,94. Badani mężczyźni okazali się o wiele bardziej skłonni niż kobiety do posługiwania się myśleniem magicznym. (abstrakt oryginalny)

It is the first such study in Polish literature. The main aim of this study was to compare magical thinking between males and females. Participant were psychically healthy 104 university students (52 men and 52 women) of age 21-7 (M=22). Statistically significant (p<0.001) gender differences in the level of intensity of magical thinking had been shown. The average level of magical thinking among males was 29.92 and 20.94 for women. Examined men turned out to be more likely than women to reach for magical thinking. (original abstract)
