Abstrakty

W artykule autor podejmuje wątki dotyczące rozwoju historycznego oraz stanu obecnego systemu emerytalnego w Irlandii w poszukiwaniu rozwiązań wartościowych w porównaniach międzynarodowych, a szczególnie do zastosowania w Polsce. Artykuł oprócz wstępu składa się z trzech części poświęconych po kolei 1) rozwojowi historycznemu irlandzkiego systemu emerytalnego, 2) stanowi obecnemu tego systemu oraz 3) wyzwaniom i przewidywanym zmianom w systemie emerytalnym Irlandii. W podsumowaniu autor stwierdza, że system emerytalny w Irlandii wydaje się realizować coraz skuteczniej zadania zapewnienia ludziom w starszym wieku środków na utrzymanie. W irlandzkich rozwiązaniach emerytalnych warto zauważyć funkcjonowanie dwóch instytucji nieobecnych w polskich realiach, ale także w realiach wielu innych krajów europejskich, a mianowicie Biura Rzecznika Emerytów oraz Rady Emerytalnej.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The article presents an insight into the old age pension system in Ireland. There, the author's goal was to present both past and present solutions employed by the Irish pension system, in search for ideas worth consideration in international comparisons, especially in Poland. There are three topic paragraphs: 1. the evolution of Irish pension system, 2. the present situation, and 3. challenges and foreseen changes. In the summary, the author highlights as a particular Irish approach, on the background of other countries, existing of two institutions, which are absent not only in Poland, but also in reality of many European countries: the Office of the Pension Ombudsman and the Pension Board.(original abstract)
