The aim of this article is to identify the current state of knowledge about neurodiversity considered in relation to autism in management and quality sciences through a scoping review. The importance of the issue of neurodiversity as a dimension of employee diversity results from the scale of the occurrence of autism and the possibility of increasing the competitiveness of the organisation thanks to the employment of neurodiverse people with special abilities and predispositions. The participation of autistic people in an organisation requires modifica- tion of management methods, management style and the scope of using digital technologies. The conducted review allows us to conclude that there is a growing interest and low level of advancement in research on neurodiversity in the management and quality sciences. While assessing the current state of knowledge the di- rections for further research on developing theories and improving management practices in the analysed area have also been indicated.
