W opracowaniu autor wskazuje na znaczenie metod S. Shingo dla japońskiej teorii ulepszania procesów pracy. Omawia metodologiczne zasady leżące u podstaw tego systemu, prezentuje uproszczony diagram systemu S. Shingo, a także przedstawia zasady i procedury użyte podczas wdrażania tego systemu.

In the article the author points out the importance of S. Shingo for the Japanese theory and practice of management. The author discusses methodological premises underlying his system of improving organization of production. A simplified diagram of the S. Shingo system is presented. The author discusses the subsequent stages of the procedure and the principles and methods used in the course of applying the system. (original abstract)
