Abstrakty

Postęp techniczny zmienił nasz świat. Zdolność przekazywania wszystkich rodzajów informacji jak również danych w systemie binarnym umożliwiła integrację wcześniej niekompatybilnych form komunikacji i usług. W artykule omówiono historię i rozwój przedsiębiorstw wirtualnych oraz wskazano różnice pomiędzy przedsiębiorstwami wirtualnymi a innymi formami organizacji. Podano także przykłady przedsiębiorstw wirtualnych dwóch zasadniczych orientacji: branżowej i regionalnej.

Technical advances have recently changed our world. The ability to transmit all kinds of information as data in binary systems has enabled the integration of formerly incompatible forms of communication and services. This article examines the history and development of network firms. It also illustrates that networking, virtual enterprises, and the internet and its applications provide opportunities for companies to respond to competitive challenges. (original abstract)
