Abstrakty

W artykule skoncentroano się na zagadnieniach związanych ze smart city, czyli miastach stanowiących swoisty ekosystem innowacji. W niniejszej publikacji wskazano główne katalizatory powstawania inteligentnych miast, znaczenie klastrów, żywych laboratoriów oraz miejskich hubów w procesie kształtowania się ekosystemów smart cities. W artykule poruszono konieczność interdyscyplinarnego i holistycznego spojrzenia na kwestię związaną z zarządzaniem smart cities jako źródłami innowacji. W związku z tym, że nie istnieje jeden idealny model lub mechanizm wiodący ku smart, miasta powinny znaleźć swoją własną metodę lub wzorować się na już stosowanych rozwiązaniach, które zostały zaprezentowane w niniejszym artykule. The paper is concerned with the concept of smart city and its perception as an ecosystem of innovation. The authors point to the key catalysts for the formation of smart cities, and stress the role of clusters, Living Labs and urban hubs in the emergence of an ecosystem of smart cities. The fact that smart cities are increasingly often defined as generators of innovation calls for an interdisciplinary and holistic approach to smart city management. There clearly does not exist a single ideal model or mechanism to make a city smart, hence each city should aim to find its own way or simply follow the good practices and examples showcased in this paper.
