Artykuł jest próbą odpowiedzi na pytanie, w jakim stopniu zalecenia polityki wspierania oszczędności i inwestycji w krajach rozwijających się, są zgodne z najnowszymi badaniami empirycznymi i modelami makroekonomicznymi odnoszącymi się do związku przyczynowo-skutkowego między oszczędnościami, inwestycjami i wzrostem gospodarczym.
