Abstrakty

Ubezpieczenia zdrowotne są rodzącym się segmentem rynku ubezpieczeń w Polsce, i ich rozwój napotyka na wiele problemów trudnych do rozwiązania. Również na świecie ubezpieczenia zdrowotne, w dzisiejszym rozumieniu tych usług, należą raczej do młodych. Faktyczny rozkwit prywatnych ubezpieczeń zdrowotnych nastąpił na świecie w latach sześćdziesiątych i dalszych, nic więc dziwnego, że problematyką tą zajęto się w Polsce dopiero teraz, jako że poprzedni system polityczno-społeczny, a przedtem jeszcze okres wojny, nie dały ku temu żadnych możliwości. Uznając potrzebę przyspieszonego rozwoju prywatnych ubezpieczeń zdrowotnych w Polsce, autor dokonał ogólnego przeglądu, jak systemy te są zorganizowane i prosperują w innych krajach (Niemcy, USA, Ameryka Południowa), i w ten sposób chce określić ogólne ramy tego ubezpieczenia i kierunki w jakich prywatne ubezpieczenia zdrowotne w Polsce mogą, lub powinny, się rozwijać.(abstrakt oryginalny)

Health insurance is a growing segment of Polish insurance market and its development is confronted with problems, not easy to be solved. Also in other countries, health insurance, in the modern sense, is rather a rising sector of insurance. The real development of private health insurance in the world occurred in sixties, so it is only natural that in Poland the problems are searched just now, because the former political system, and before the years of war were not conducive to such activity. Taking into account the necessity of accelerated development of private health insurance in Poland, the author presents the general review of how the insurance is organized in other countries, and on this basis tries to define directions in which private health insurance will, or should, develope in Poland.
